Soft Rock Phosphate

Soft rock phosphate fertilisers are a type of phosphate fertiliser derived from naturally occurring phosphorus-bearing rock. Unlike traditional phosphate fertilisers, which are usually chemically processed, soft rock phosphate is minimally processed, maintaining more of its natural mineral composition. Soft rock phosphate contains calcium phosphate, which is released slowly into the soil as plants require it.

It releases phosphorus slowly over time, making it available to plants as they need it.

Soft rock phosphate can improve soil health by providing phosphorus and other trace minerals necessary for plant growth. It can also help buffer soil pH due to its calcium content.

Many organic farmers and gardeners prefer soft rock phosphate because it aligns with organic farming principles and is approved for use in organic agriculture by various certification bodies.
